Position: Certified personal trainer – Daytime & evening

The Pointe-Saint-Charles YMCA Centre is a rapidly growing, people oriented fitness facility located in the south west of Montreal. We are currently seeking Certified Personal Trainers to join our team. Successful candidates must be self-motivated, enthusiastic for fitness, personable, and seeking a desire for professional growth.
Work term: – Part-time and full time positions available
Position Description: – Provide excellent customer service – Conduct fitness appraisals – Conduct fitness assesement – Design and implement tailored cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility programs for personal training clientele. –Advise clients on basic nutrition and between-workout exercises – Guide and motivate clients through their programs – Respond to emergency and first aid situations
Qualifications / Skills Required: – Recognized Personal Training Certification – Current Standard First Aid/CPR/AED – Specilaty Certification (Group Exercise, Older Adult, Crossfit etc. would be a strong asset) – Sales ability – Strong communication skills – Ability to coach, mentor, and bring out the best in others – Works well in a team, as well as individually – Be a role model and fitness advocate for clients and club members – Personal liability inssurance
Salary: YMCA PSC provides competitive salaries. Depending on experience, certification and performance.
