Our company needs to fill out two positions in Ottawa.
The candidates should have:
1. College or university degree in Sciences / computers or related field.
2. Experience as .NET database developer
3. Experience writing SQL Server store procedures
4. Hands on in C# programming
5. Fluent in English and French, some Spanish knowledge will be an advantage
6. Science / chemical laboratory knowledge will be an advantage
Job duties:
• Developing and extending software applications using SQL Server and .NET technologies.
• Onsite installations of the software
• Provide technical support for the Company's products through direct contact with clients via e-mail, phone and site visits when required.
• Making recommendations for improvements or new software capabilities.
• Help to develop training material for new clients to improve efficiency during installation.
• Be proactive in understanding client challenges and issues. Make recommendations to improve technical solutions and workflows.
• Keep abreast of current and future developments and trends in this market.
• Work in a professional and timely manner ensuring all queries are responded to with a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Assist the marketing area with activities such as: demos, responding to enquiries from prospective clients, assisting in preparation of documentation etc.
