Metolius UltraLight Cam TCU 3 With Rang Finder #2 New.
 
High quality construction, milled cam stops and U-shaped body solid enough for life-long use. Holds well in hard rock with little “walking” even with intentional movement of the rope. Easy to place and inspect placement. Trigger mechanism isn’t very smooth. Color-coded Dyneema slings are lighter than nylon and & less bulky. Range Finder lets you know how solid placements are. Low profile cam lobes don’t catch on other gear or in tight squeezes. Tested In hard rock like quartzite, this cam held solidly in place even when the rope was intentionally jerked around. In softer limestone, this piece performed flawlessly. Color-coded slings allowed for quick identification in a desperate moment, and the trigger bar is big enough for larger hands and fingers. The U-shaped stem was great for bypassing the attached Dyneema sling when clipping off short was necessary.
